The Princess Alexandra Hospital Digital Hospital Project was a transformative initiative focused on enhancing healthcare technology and improving patient care.
Commencing with in-depth consultations and presentations, the project aimed to align its goals with the operational requirements of the hospital.
Debetrek successfully supplied and installed 319 wall mounts and 300 Ergotron carts powered with Scott Clark hot swap batteries, ensuring healthcare staff had reliable access to technology while providing patient care.
In addition to the new installations, the project included consultation, supply, and installation management of backing boards to accommodate the 319 wall mounts in key point of care locations.
An upgrade and maintenance service was also provided for 150 existing wall mounts, ensuring their continued functionality. The initiative concluded with thorough testing and commissioning of all equipment prior to handover, along with the installation of large flat panel LCD tracking boards to enhance patient monitoring capabilities.
Throughout the project, data collection and regular reporting to stakeholders were prioritised to maintain effective communication and transparency.
