Debetrek undertook a significant ieMR Advanced Digital Upgrade at Queensland Children’s Hospital, formerly known as Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital.

The project commenced with comprehensive consultations and presentations to align with the hospital’s specific needs. This involved detailed design and prototyping to ensure tailored solutions.

Key deliverables included the supply and installation of over 50 hot swap battery powered carts (Powered Workstations on Wheels), alongside wall-mounted computer workstations in medication rooms.

A notable enhancement was the upgrade of the 5D Burns Unit, which integrated point-of-care (POC) bedside terminals combined with vital signs monitoring.

Debetrek also supplied and installed touch screen monitors (CyberNet) and mounting arms (ICW) for anaesthetic machines, facilitating the use of new surgical and anaesthetic applications (SAA).

Furthermore, over 800 medical-grade keyboards and mice with integrated card readers were provided.

The project also included relocating existing POC wall mounts to better support new workflows and the configuration of barcode scanners for POC, WoWs, and SAA terminals.

To ensure accountability, asset tagging, data collection, and regular reporting to stakeholders were integral aspects of this comprehensive upgrade, reflecting Debetrek’s commitment to enhancing healthcare technology.
