Debetrek conducted an extensive site audit of the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital to facilitate the full implementation of a digital ieMR system.
This initiative involved individual consultations with each department, allowing for a tailored approach to their specific needs. The audit focused on identifying optimal locations for wall-mounted workstations, workstations on wheels, additional computers, and downtime viewers, ensuring that each area was well-equipped for the transition to a digital environment.
In addition to workstation placements, the audit encompassed detailed design and requirements for medication room fit-outs and operating theatre device locations, including comprehensive installation plans.
Debetrek assessed power and data requirements for each location, as well as printing, scanning, and vital signs monitoring needs. The final deliverable included thorough reporting on device locations, marked-up drawings, and a complete list of site requirements, providing a clear roadmap for the successful implementation of the digital ieMR across the hospital.
This project underscores Debetrek’s commitment to enhancing healthcare technology integration and improving patient care through meticulous planning and execution.
